Seth Woodbury MacFarlane (born October 26, 1973) is a cartoon and comedic actor, screenwriter, producer, director, and singer from the United States.
He created the television sitcoms Family Guy (1999-present) and The Orville (2017-present), as well as American Dad! (2005-present) and The Cleveland Show (2009–2013).
MacFarlane attended the Rhode Island School of Design to study animation. He was employed by Hanna-Barbera as an animator and writer for television series such as Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Larry & Steve.
