Born Jeremy Robert Martin Sumpter on the 5th February 1989, in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California USA, he is an actor best known to the world in the title role of the family adventure film “Peter Pan” (2003), and as J.D. McCoy in the TV series “Friday Night Lights” (2008-2010). His career has been active since 2001.

Jeremy is the son Sandy and her husband Gary Sumpter. He grew up in a big family with a twin sister and two children from his mother’s previous marriage. While still a baby, the whole family moved to Mount Sterling, Kentucky, his mother’s hometown.
Once Jeremy turned 11 he entered International Modeling and Talent Association, taking his first steps towards a modeling career, and that same year he became Pree-Teen Male Model of the Year.
